Why 9474?
9474 is the result of God's grace through the life of Phil Taylor. Phil lived 9,474 days on earth, with faith, love, family, friends and purpose for each of the 9,474 days he lived prior to having colorectal cancer end his earthly life.
During his battle, his positive outlook and daily focus on God’s presence was a hallmark of how he was able to impact so many lives. It is because of how God used Phil in the midst of his battle and provided for him each day that the 9474 Foundation was created.

Our Mission
The mission of the 9474 Foundation is to be used by God to provide joy for those in the midst of trials. We provide opportunities for young adults to receive education regarding prevention and diagnosis of colorectal cancer and support young adults battling any type of cancer.

Joy Through Generosity
Make a meaningful difference by supporting our cause and investing in the well-being of those in need.
What We Believe
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4
The 9474 Foundation’s work is built upon the Gospel message of Jesus Christ and His suffering, death, resurrection and ascension for all humanity. As we live in a fallen world with trials and sufferings, we know that God has given His people the opportunity to serve others in light of that Gospel message and bring joy to them. We will use that opportunity to bring the joy of Christ into the lives of young adults fighting cancer.
